(LA, D4, School) A Bullet is Waiting

I subtly checked my gun one more time. It probably wouldn't be enough. The crowbar I was carrying probably wouldn't do much either, not against a huntsman.

I could have tried running, but if he's got my trail, I wouldn't get far enough on my own. I wasn't going to go down quietly, either. Best to keep things away from the others and away from human bystanders. There was no school during the harvest. The halls were empty.

I wasn't too proud to ask for help, though. I let the others know what was happening and what I was doing. I made it clear I wasn't expecting them to put themselves at risk, but I'd appreciate any help they'd offer.

Now, I'd just wait.

The elemental strode up, cracking his knuckles and rolling his neck, he almost seemed excited at the prospect of a fight.

"This morning, a huntsman sent a herald to tell me he was coming." I briefed everyone. "A couple days ago I used a contract out in the fields, to see how a bone ended up there, and saw a vision of the past, of a changeling being executed or sacrificed. That was probably when he picked up my scent."

He wasn't sure what he could offer to help. But they had made a pledge, and Penn wasn't one to back down from a fight.
