Maize explodes into a bustle of activity. Despite the cold, from dawn there are volunteers hanging colourful bunting and pasting posters featuring a cartoony cob of corn with arms, legs, and a face. The posters proclaim that today is the day of the Corn Festival. Typical of all days of celebration, clouds have gathered during the night, and continue to build through the day, though they scud away again overnight. Happily, the temperatures rise back into positive numbers in the morning, quickly dropping off again once the sun sets.

Your dreams continue to darken, even Reina is starting to be affected by the visions of corn.
