The day dawns clear and cold, and the temperature peaks just below freezing in the early afternoon. The town seems strangely busy, a nest of bees or ants going about their business with no heed to your presence. A building tension grows in the air, something coming, or a precipice ahead of you.

While you slept, your dreams were shadowed, like a poorly lit movie set. Jean, your dreams are interrupted by themes of corn, themes that make sense within the logic of the dreams themselves, but upon awaking the recurring thread is all too apparent. Imogen, Jonathan, Marlowe, and Penn also dream of corn, the expansive fields never far from sight, wherever your dreams take place. Tiffani’s dreams are overwhelmed by their stalks of ghost corn, surrounding her, swayed by a breeze she cannot feel, an ocean of corn on all sides...
