COUGHING (TILT)
Description: You suffer a coughing fit.
Effect: Take -1 die to Physical rolls, and -2 to Perception rolls.
Causing the Tilt: Inhaling dust, pollen, etc; or illness.
Ending the Tilt: Leaving the area, recovering from illness.
MARSH (ENVIRONMENTAL TILT)
Description: The ground is wet, with mud sucking at your feet every step.
Effect: While in the marsh take a -1 die penalty on all Physical rolls.
Causing the Tilt: Marshes occur where drainage is poor.
Ending the Tilt: Leaving the area, changing the environment.
RATTLED (CONDITION)
Description: You’ve been unnerved. You may still act, but your fear inhibits you. This Condition is more profound than being Spooked, but is not as overwhelming as Frightened.
Effect: Take a cumulative -1 die penalty for each time this Condition is imposed.
Possible Sources: Being chased by a terrifying creature.
Resolution: Escape the cause of this Condition.
SPOOKED (CONDITION)
This Condition replaces the one in the rulebook.
Description: Something has given you a fright.
Effect: The source of your fear dominates your thoughts. Add +1 die to Clarity Damage rolls.
Possible Sources: The presence of a major Bane; Mild Clarity Damage.
Resolution: Escape the cause of this Condition.
SUFFOCATED (TILT)
Description: Your character cannot breathe.
Effect: Take a cumulative -1 die penalty to all rolls for every turn this Tilt is in effect. Every turn that the penalty exceeds the number of dots the character has in Stamina or Resolve (whichever is higher), they must roll Stamina as if their last Health box had been marked with Damage, or fall unconscious. Starting with the turn after the character falls unconscious, they begin taking a point of lethal damage each turn as is they were bleeding out.
Causing the Tilt: A character may be drowning, or being choked.
Ending the Tilt: This Tilt ends when the character is able to breathe again.
WEARY (CONDITION)
Description: You are tired. Not as exhausted as would impose the Fatigued Condition, but tired nonetheless. You can muddle through the haze without nodding off, but it isn’t entirely easy.
Effect: Take a -1 die penalty to all rolls, add +1 die to Clarity damage rolls.
Possible Sources: Inability to sleep due to nightmares, staying awake for 24 hours.
Resolution: Sleeping for two consecutive timeslots.
