MAYOR DON THORPE

Don has been serving as the Mayor of Maize for several years now, and hasn’t faced any competition for the job in that time. In his 60s, he looks the part, well dressed and groomed. He is rather old fashioned, the platform that made him so popular.

RAY JENSEN

The owner of the Maize Motel, Ray is a dour man in his 70s. An ex-military man, Ray returned to Maize to look after his elderly mother, taking the motel job to make the money needed to support her. After she passed, Ray continued working at the motel, and eventually bought the business after the previous owner has a stroke.

STEVEN CRABTREE

Always a large, strong man, Steven is well suited to his life as a Farmhand. His employer, Thomas Whipple, is an elderly widower whose only child moved overseas. This puts Steven in an excellent position to take over the farm when Whipple passes away. Married a little over three years ago, Steven and his wife Laura have lived in Maize almost as long as that.

FATHER ROBERT HENSHALL

Robert is a friendly priest in his 40s, though he looks younger. He arrived in Maize around 8 months ago, to fill the position left by the previous reverend.
