"Fair enough." Jean shrugged. "Not my type? What do you mean by that?" he asked, leaning bit closer to the demon spawn.

He managed to take the hint when she noted the time though. "It is." Shivering a little, Jean nodded. "The ungodly revel in the moonlight." It sounded like he knew what he what he was talking about, thought it was evident how that could be. That left paranoia and insanity as the most likely options.

It seemed that she was about to get up from her spot until he asked another question. Imogen leaned back with her hands out. "Hey, I didn't say he wasn't your type. I just said if he wasn't, then maybe there is another person out there you might like spending them with. You sometimes have to keep walking, you know? Kind of like what you're already doing."

"Okay, I'm going now." She said as rose from her seat, pretty sure tips and tabs were settled previously. "You're going to be okay, right? You have money? I don't think they take gold coins around here."

"Huh." Was pretty much all he had to say. "I guess I'll have to see myself." he nodded with a determination, her words echoing in his mind, though eager to see himself how this mystic detector of privates was.

"Ah, no, I'm good. They gave me some cash back in Montreal. One them owns a wine shop. Lots of people want wine, so they make good money with it." In reality, he had less than a grand on him. Yet, Jean was confident that it would do. After all, god was looking after him. "Take care, Miss Imogen."

It would have been amusing to leave Jean explaining himself to the staff here and washing dishes but it seemed he had himself covered. She gave a few nods, a touch disappointed that thought won't come into fruition.

"All right, good night, then. Don't let the bed bugs bite..." She said with an ominous tone then made her way out of the dive bar.

Huh... Jean thought to himself, wondering what sort of hell she had walked through. Hell different from his, Jean was certain. He waited few moments before paying his tab and heading out. He still had places to be.
