[Marlowe Phillips]

"With my leg, shadowing them would have been difficult." I explained. "It doesn't look like either of us are getting much. I don't think we'll get much further, without talking to the locals."

[Imogen Baker]

She smirked faintly. "You must be a hit with the locals, have you had any luck with talking to any of them? Did you get their name at least?"

[Marlowe Phillips]

"No. I've mostly been watching and listening. But, that hasn't gotten me far." I admitted. "I've never been much for rubbing elbows, but I guess I'll have to learn."

[Imogen Baker]

She took a slow sip of coffee before speaking. "I think Tiffani was supposed to hang out at one of the churches for room and boarding. I don't think I've really asked how that ended up. Seeing as she's not sleeping on the streets, I think she might have hit it off with the church folks. Then there's also Sleeping Beauty, I'd be surprised if they don't take him in as one of their own."

[Marlowe Phillips]

"No. She didn't." I shook my head. "The priest did set her up with a room here, but she seems to think he's involved with whatever's going on. From what she said, he may be able to see us for what we are."

[Imogen Baker]

"Right, I guess it explains why she has been hanging around the motel more often. So much for the hipster route. That's strange about the priest however...If that is the case, why hasn't the town stormed the motel with pitchforks and torches?"

[Marlowe Phillips]

"My thoughts exactly." I nodded. "He may have been put off by her appearance, but he did arrange for a room here. It's a bit suspicious, but I'm not sure he's an enemy."

[Imogen Baker]

"If not the enemy, he's pretty damn suspicious. I suppose it's nice of him to not act on it but with everything you're telling me, it seems that they might be corralling us all in the same place. What's his name again?"
