[Day Three - Late Afternoon] All Fun and Games

[Imogen Baker]

"Knowing how coincidences work around here, I'm pretty sure we're at the wrong place and the wrong time." She let out a long sigh as she tossed the remainder of her cornbread on a stick in the trashcan, not wanting to eat anything corn related at the moment. After all, it could be made out of Lost blood for all she knew, or at least it aided in its growth. "Do you really think we have to go out of town to find information?"

[Marlowe Phillips]

"I don't know. In a place like this, history might be maintained orally, rather than being recorded as public record. Especially the stuff we're looking for." I shook my head. I really didn't know enough about Maize. "I may be able to make a few calls, though. See if one of my friends can dig something up."

[Imogen Baker]

"Hm, it seems you have that end covered then. All right then," she said with a slow nod at that. "I guess I'll just keep an eye out and get ready to wrestle any one of these townsfolk if it comes down to it."

[Marlowe Phillips]

"We need to find s better way to keep all of us informed of whatever we find." I added. "A better way to coordinate our efforts."

[Imogen Baker]

"Well, only some of us have phones and you've noticed that it might be a pain to get everyone in one room together. We tend to go off tangent sometimes. Maybe we could self-manage, if we had some direction?"

[Marlowe Phillips]

"We should help Steve with his fetch." I suggested. "That's the one solid objective we have."

[Imogen Baker]

"Oh right, kind of hard to forget that we have someone who actually didn't just wander in here," she said on a semi-sarcastic note. "I haven't had the pleasure of talking to him personally. What's his story, anyway? Wouldn't his fetch kind of stick out around here? There aren't exactly a lot of people. If he doesn't find him by now, he'll likely see him by Sunday."

[Marlowe Phillips]

"He didn't want help when I first spoke to him." I shrugged. "Maybe something has changed."

[Imogen Baker]

"Going after your fetch is very personal business, regardless of what you have in mind. Did he tell you what he had in mind exactly?"

[Marlowe Phillips]

"I didn't know he was looking for his fetch until the meeting." I shook my head. "It sounded very personal, and likely violent. I'd like to know why the fetch came here, though."
