[Day Three - Late Afternoon] All Fun and Games

[Imogen Baker]

"Okay..." Imogen said slowly, trying to come to terms of what happened and thinking rationally. While it was tempting to scream murder and start suspecting every person in this country fair, she shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. "Any idea of who did it? Could it be the people around us?"

[Marlowe Phillips]

"The vision wasn't very detailed." I sighed. "I wanted to see the moment of death. I wasn't really expecting what I saw, though."

[Imogen Baker]

"I guess you don't have any idea if it was premeditated or just incidental? Nothing on the Changeling itself? No names or description? Then again, might have been swept under the rug. Murders and missing people must be few and far between around here. Tiffani's idea of sifting through records make more and more sense."

[Marlowe Phillips]

"They were manacled, so the changeling was in a bad situation before they were killed. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to identify them by."

[Imogen Baker]

"Somebody has some real hate and it's not just one person, that's fucking concerning." She scoffed and scanned her surroundings. "It could even be that brother and sister, or their parents, or their neighbours. Anyone here."

[Marlowe Phillips]

"And, they know what they're dealing with, if they could chain one of us." That might be the most terrifying part. "This may all be a trap for us."

[Imogen Baker]

She gave a slow nod at that. "And what sort of thing should we look out for? I mean, isn't this something that everyone should know?"

[Marlowe Phillips]

"We should avoid being alone." That was my first thought. "We should watch for anyone who might recognize us for what we are. I don't think everyone in town is involved. Even if they are, I doubt they can all identify changelings. We also need to look for anything other changeling's may have left behind."

[Imogen Baker]

"There aren't a lot of houses here but enough that we can't quite turn up every stone before it's too late, if anything is truly after us. Any clue where we could look?"

[Marlowe Phillips]

"It has something to do with the corn. Learning more about it might help." I shrugged. "We need to look everywhere, though. Keep our eyes open and something will stick out."

I gave it more thought. "There's the motel, too. If anyone else was drawn here like we were, they'd have stayed there."
